Claude Code is an AI that writes and fixes code from a plain-language description. It has no permanent free tier, but a 7-day guest pass unlocks full Claude Pro. What is Claude Code (Guest Pass)?
Claude Code is Anthropic's tool that runs in your terminal or editor. You describe a task in ordinary words ("add a signup form", "find why this test fails") and it reads the project, makes the changes and checks the result itself. It is the engine behind what people now call vibe coding: the human sets the task, the AI writes the code.
What you get
A guest pass gives 7 days of full Claude Pro together with Claude Code, with no feature limits. Passes are donated by community members who hold a Claude Max subscription, so availability is always limited to what has been shared. We never charge for them — it is a voluntary exchange.

Is Claude Code free?
There is no permanent free tier. You can use it free for 7 days through a guest pass — which is exactly what this catalog hands out. After 7 days you either subscribe or cancel.
Do I need a credit card?
Yes, the service itself requires a card. Nothing is charged during the first 7 days, and cancelling before day 7 ends means no payment is taken at all.
Why are passes sometimes unavailable?
They are not our own product: they are donated by community members with a Claude Max subscription. One pass covers a few sign-ups and they go fast. When none are free, the bot adds you to the queue and notifies you first when stock arrives.
Claude Code or ChatGPT for coding?
ChatGPT is the better general conversationalist; Claude Code is the better doer — it sees the whole project, edits files and runs checks instead of returning a snippet in a chat window. For real repository work Claude Code usually wins; for quick explanations and drafts, ChatGPT.
What does it cost afterwards?
After the free week the normal Claude Pro subscription applies. Check Anthropic's own pricing page for the current figure — it changes and depends on your country and payment method.
